A classic of Barcelona. The original first beer made in Barcelona in 1856, great for aperitif and tapas. Very popular in Barcelona, all around Catalonia and Mallorca. Pilsner-like, with a light body, but also Barcelona-like. Pleasant, light golden colour, with white, fluffy and abundant foam, like Barcelona city.

Its flavour is smooth and pleasant, with sweet notes of extra-pale malt and cereals, and a hint of citrus.  Moritz Original is a beer brewed with pale malts, water from Font d'Or (Montseny-Guilleries) and perfumed with an infusion of aromatic hop flowers from Saaz. The brewing method returns to authenticity, recovering the use of low altitude and pressure tanks that improve the action of the yeast.

Aroma: moderate, a hint of bread, intense floral notes from the hops.  Aftertaste: a touch of sweetness and slight bitterness. Foam: white, spongy, abundant.

Bitterness: 25 IBU; Colour: 8 EBC (clear golden yellow)
