This cheese is made at the Finca Pascualete cheese factory in Trujillo, in Caceres.. Finca Pascualete is a family business whose origins date back to the early years of the 13th century.
This cheese is a 100% natural product from Finca Pascualete, located in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura. Its production is inspired by the traditional recipe from Tuscany, which was brought to Extremadura by transhumant shepherds, and to which the exquisite black truffle, also Italian, has been added, making Pastura an exquisite and unique cheese.
Its white, tender, mouldy rind holds a delicate, creamy but compact paste, sprinkled with bits of truffle. Its flavour is very balanced and in the mouth it contrasts the sweet flavours of the paste, the earthy aroma of the rind and the delicate flavour of the truffle.
