L´Hereu is an artisan pasteurized goat's milk cheese from the Murgó Formatges cheese factory in Sant Iscle de Vallalta (El Maresme, Barcelona).
Rustic in appearance, square and grey in colour. Inside, a delicate white paste with a compact and creamy texture. Slightly acidic, lactic aroma. Intense goat's milk flavour, with a fresh background that increases towards the end.
Pressed cheese and flowery skin. Of medium maturity and with a taste of cellar and undergrowth due to the fungus of the bark. It is square in shape and weighs approximately 350 gr.
It is a very versatile cheese. Ideal on a cheese board, with a good crusty bread, with nuts or fruit. It also works in soups or to thicken sauces.
